Monday night it was the turn of Melbourne to play host to the growing power of One Direction, and the level of noise present at the stadium was simply staggering.
Hysteria engulfed the Hisense Arena, and the thousands of Directioners who turned up were treated to a performance they will never forget, from the five British boys slowly taking over the world.
“We are three rows from the front, and we are centre! The atmosphere is hysterically electric. A small squeal catches like a cold and rapidly turns to pneumonia. I’m completely deafened — it only takes a stage-hand to flutter a curtain and it’s utter pandemonium and chaos. However it is ordered chaos and the ladies are all very well behaved and polite. “I was a little disappointed to see that a large section of seating in the arena had been curtained off. A lot of desperate fans could have easily filled those seats… so not sure why the venue didn’t sell them! The boys themselves definitely didn’t fail to impress everyone in the arena. They bounded onto stage in one very chic ensemble (all dressed from the same colour palette of course) and then managed to go through no less than three other costume changes throughout the set!” Read the rest of the review at Take40.com
