1D Fancy A Rockier Sound For Their Second Album
You’ll know that Ed Sheeran wrote a track, “Moments” for the boys debut album, and it seems that One Direction were impressed so much by Ed’s songwriting skills that they want him to help them on their next one.
Speaking to the Daily Star, Liam Payne said: “Ed is such a talented guy. We spoke to him about helping again for the next album which we want to actually write with him this time.”
Louis Tomlinson added: “We want to take the next album into a different zone – more guitars and grungier. We like the sound of a real guitar on tour; we beefed up the live show so now we want to take it on to the album.”
As well as just Ed, the boys are also fans of Dappy and are keen to work with the ex N-Dubz star on future tracks, after being blown away by his first two singles “No Regrets” and “Rockstar”.
Both Ed and One Direction are up for a Brit Award this Tuesday, and are going face to face for “Best British Single”, as well as Ed being nominated for three other awards too.
