One Direction have made their biggest jump yet towards making it big in the USA.
New single “One Thing” has entered the top 10 on the Billboard Social 50 chart, thanks to the Jan 13th debut of the music video on Youtube.
The song clocked up more than 5 million views in the first 5 days and thrust 1D into it’s first entry on the US chart.
No songs have been officially released in the USA yet, and the fact 1D are already charting in the Social 50 chart is a hugely positive sign of things to come.
Could our boys be the first UK boyband in recent times to score a top 10 hit in the Billboard Hot 100? (the equivalent of the UK Top 40).
