It has been revealed that our favourite five boys will soon be appearing on the small screen, giving us a chance to devote even more of our time to ogle the handsome chappies.

Syco and Modest Management have employed production company Fulwell 73 to follow them round over the next couple of months as they gear up to release their debut album. The documentary will capture their every move and give us an in-depth insight as to what the boys get up to on a daily basis.

With “What Makes You Beautiful” pretty much nailed on to hit No.1, and with hundreds of girls turning up to catch the slightest glimpse, the TV show is simply the next stage in ensuring 1D’s rise to stardom.

Who knows, if the show is a hit (duh), we could be in for a One Direction movie, and who wouldn’t want to go and watch that. Get saving up for your tickets right now!

Elsewhere, N-Dubz rapper Dappy is now a confirmed 1D fan, and spoke out recently saying: “After seeing the new X-Factor show and hearing the new single from One Direction I must say I’m now a fan”.

Dappy and 1D to work together on a future single? (Hell yeh!)

It’s certainly a busy time for 1D, and their debut single “What Makes You Beautiful” has now broken a Sony Music record for the biggest number of pre-orders in their history, EVER! The forthcoming album is predicted to be equally as successful, and the boss of Sony Music recently spoke out and said the new album is one of the best pop records made by the label.

Make sure you head down to your local newsagent and pick up a copy of the latest Top of the Pops Mag (Issue 214) if you don’t want to miss out on some fantastic One Direction postcards, each featuring a different member complete with their signature.

Pin them up in your bedroom or stick them on your fridge – you could even have a game of Snap if you get your friends to buy a copy of the magazine too (best game of Snap ever?)

Remind yourself just how good One Direction are, with one of their first recordings – the “winners single” that they recorded for last years X Factor competition. Apparently this is on their forthcoming album (thought it’s not yet been confirmed so don’t take that as gospel.

Our favourite boys seemed to gel instantly – isn’t it like they’ve been together for years already? Keep it up lads, you’re going to be the biggest boyband in the world!

Key 103 Manchester

After having played their debut single last week on Radio 1, the One Direction boys have been on a non-stop tour of pretty much all the UK radio stations. This morning it was the turn of Manchester’s Key 103, and they didn’t disappoint as they gave an acoustic rendition of “What Makes You Beautiful” to the screaming adulation of hundreds of teenage fans who had queued outside to see them.

In scenes reminiscent of a more experienced boyband with hit after hit behind them, the fans were in even higher numbers as Liam, Harry, Niall, Louis and Zayn moved eastward towards Liverpool. With onlooking girls going mad at the slightest sight of the boys, we think they are now only realising just how big a band they are going to be.

A non-stop whistle-tour of the UK radio stations is just the start for One Direction, and with the debut single predicted to go straight in at No.1, they’ll definitely be visiting many more in the future.

Keep an attentive ear open for your local radio station as there’s a very good chance that 1D might be popping in.

We think they’ll need a few more security guards very soon!

Having released their first single this week, the world is going mad about 1D, and Twitter was practically taken over early this week by fans talking non-stop about the boys. Five of the WORLDWIDE top trending topics were all dedicated to One Direction, and one of the trends – “WMYB”, even lasted two full days.

What Makes You Beautiful will be available on September 11th and looks set to go straight to No.1 in it’s first full week of release.

Well it’s not a cover of Grease – “Summer Loving”. Nor is it a cheesy typical boyband ballad. And it doesn’t even have any autotune on it!

In fact it’s bloody brilliant – we love it and think it give’s One Direction a really good sound. A definite No.1 hit, and one that should set them on the road to super-stardom.

Missed out on the 10 second peek as played by Scott Mills on Radio 1 last Friday? Here’s another listen to whet your appetite before the full song is played exclusively this Wednesday morning at 8am on Radio 1.

As of this morning, One Direction have officially broken a world record for having their debut single “What Makes You Beautiful” chart at No.2 on the iTunes chart – on pre-orders only! With the band yet to release their first song until September 11th, this is simply staggering, and goes a long way to confirming their status as a mega boyband in waiting.

The band are currently sitting comfortably in 2nd place behind “Now That’s What I Call Music 79″ in the iTunes Album chart (“What Makes You Beautiful” is officially a single, but comes with another song “Na Na Na”).

It’s pretty much certain that 1D will hit No.1 upon full release of the song (or even once we get to hear it in full this Wednesday morning on Radio 1), so get ready for the world to go 1D mental very very soon

One Direction have finally released details of their debut single, and we can reveal that it will be called “What Makes You Beautiful” and will be released on September 11th. The song is available to pre-order now, and you can order the CD right here from our One Direction Store!

The first single will come bundled with a B-side called ‘Na Na Na’, which was touted to be one of the most catchiest tunes on the album, and the digital version is currently placed at number three on the iTunes album chart already! The single will premier on radio over the next couple of weeks. The boys recently described their debut single as “perfect”, adding that they hope “everybody loves it”.

TOTP Mag fans asked Harry a couple of questions this month, and here they are:

Who would you pick if you were on a desert island and could only take two people with you?

These are hard questions! I think I’d take Bear Grylls because he’s a survival expert who could help get me out, and David Attenborough because his voice would calm me down and he could explain everything to me.

What’s the best thing a girl has ever done for you?

You know they’ve all been very selfish… I’m joking! I used to work in a bakery and started at 5am in the morning on a Saturday and finished at 4pm. It was pretty tough. A girl from work covered my shifts so I could go to the X Factor auditions. I’m glad she did!

If you didn’t get chance to buy July’s edition of TOTP Mag, here’s another question that was posed to the boys, and answered by Harry & Zayn:

Did recording the album in Los Angeles mean you were partying with lots of plastic girls with fake boobs?

Harry: Ha-ha! I wouldn’t know about fake boobs – I haven’t really been looking to be honest! And we’ve been way too busy working to even think about partying. During the time we have off, we’ve just been taking it easy, lying by the pool.

Zayn: Being in LA is such a different lifestyle. It’s really fast paced. I mean, the furthest place I’d every been before The X-Factor was Birmingham. It kind of amazes me how much everyone is into fitness here. Even at midnight, or like at 1am in the morning, there are loads of people still in the gym – it’s crazy!
