They’re all jumping on the bandwagon now.
Only last month Justin Bieber and his management revealed a possible collaboration could be in the pipeline, then The Wanted spoke about working together in the future, and now new kid on the block Conor Maynard has thrown his hat into the ring.
Speaking with Free Radio, Conor said:
“Watching One Direction blowing up in America was insane. I was actually in America when that all happened. That was crazy.”
“They’ve done so well. I remember when I was starting, I was in with all the producers at the same time as they were. We worked with a lot of the same people on our albums.”I mean a collaboration could be a cool thing to do. I don’t know what kinda song we’d both go on at the same time, it would have to be very cool.”
Strangely, he also admits wanting to work with Susan Boyle too!
Conor is currently enjoying chart success with his debut single “Can’t Say No”.
Elsewhere, Madonna has surprisingly revealed that she doesn’t know who One Direction are.
In an interview with ITV1′s Daybreak, she seemed blissfully unaware who the uber-boyband were, saying:
“That’s a pop group, right? Sorry, I haven’t seen them yet, no, sorry. Slap my hand.”
Come on Madonna, get with it!
