Earlier this week Louis and Eleanor were spotted at Nice airport on their way back home to the UK, when sneaky paps managed to snap a few photos of what looked like an engagement ring on Eleanor’s finger.
Cue marriage gossip and rumours galore!
The pair have been going out for like a GAZILLION years now, so an engagement wouldn’t be out of the question.
However, all you Louis fans can breathe a sigh of relief as a spokesperson for the band stated on Twitter that “Louis and Eleanor are not engaged”.
Miss Calder herself also tweeted the following message:
“Haha noo It’s just a flower ring that I bought from a market! Xx”
As well as Louis and Eleanor, it seems that certain sources had claimed that Liam had proposed to girlfriend Danielle Peazer – another rumour which has since been quashed.
Christ almighty! Two engagements in a week would have just been too much to take in!
Liam and Louis are the only two members of One Direction with long-term girlfriends, but have recently been joined by Zayn Malik with his Little Mix girlfriend Perrie Edwards.
