One Direction are set to crown a meteoric rise to success with a starring role on tonight’s SNL.
The boys will be appearing with “Modern Family” actress Sofia Vergara, and performing “What Makes You Beautiful.
Talking about the show to MTV News, Niall Horan said: “This is our kind of show. You know, we like to have a bit of a laugh. This is our perfect kind of show [and] we get involved as much as we can.”
Liam said that fans will love their appearance on the legendary TV show, commenting: “[Fans should expect] just us having a lot of fun on Saturday Night Live. We might be making an appearance after performing as well. Who knows?”
As well as SNL, lucky Directioners have got a mega weekend of 1D fun and frivolities, as their long-awaited iCarly episode finally airs.
In terms of their acting skills, the Brit lads have had rave reviews from the cast, with Nathan Krauss saying: “Having One Direction on set was really cool, we didn’t really know what to expect from them, because we had heard that they didn’t really have any acting experience because they have a lot of lines and are almost in every scene. So we were uncertain as to how well the shooting would go.”
iCarly star Miranda Cosgrove also revealed she’s a huge fan of the band, saying: “I’ve known about them for probably the last two years, so I liked them a lot. I was really excited to have them on the show. Every one of them was really funny and they all knew their lines and I think they have very good chemistry and they seem like really good friends.”
