A police officer has admitted how he is inspired by the 1D star and models himself on him.
Chief Inspector Kerry Blakeman, West Midlands Police is the first officer in the country to broadcast incidents live on the internet.
He has said how video platforms on the web can change how the police force engages with their community.
And what does this have to do with Harry Styles you ask?
Well, he was first attracted to the idea of using Social Media when he saw his daughter watch Harry attempt to build up his online fan base, using stuff like Twitter.
“I thought anything Harry Styles can do, I can match it.”
He sees social media as a way of engaging with younger peoplw who wouldn’t otherwise be too interested in all that stuff.
He sees great potential in the use of social media and video platforms for the Police force, and it’s all thanks to our Harry!
He thinks using social media will increase the publics confidence in the public services.
By streaming live recordings on Twitter using Twitcams he can connect with us youngsters.
So, it looks like Harry Styles doesn’t just inspire us Directioners, but some of the most important people in our communities too!
