‘Take Me Home’ is the second album from One Direction, released on November 13th 2012 by Sony Music Entertainment. Following up from 1D’s debut effort ‘Up All Night’, much was expected of the bands sophomore offering, and it didn’t disappoint!

Boasting 13 stunning tracks on the standard edition, with a further 4 on the limited edition – not to mention 3 more on certain special editions, ‘Take Me Home’ topped the charts in more than 35 countries, and became the 4th best-selling album of 2012, again going straight to number one in the US Billboard 200. Pretty awesome stuff.

‘Live While We’re Young’ was the first track to be released from the album, and has become as well known as ‘What Makes You Beautiful’ was from the first album. Similar to ‘Up All Night’ most of the songs were written by Rami Yacoub, Carl Falk and Savan Kotecha, but Ed Sheeran wrote both ‘Little Things’ and ‘Over Again’, whilst McFly members Tom Fletcher, Danny Jones and Dougie Poynter wrote ‘I Would’
