It seems not a day goes by without 1D announcing another tour, and whilst over in Australia at the moment, Liam Payne broke the surprise news: “Yes, we will be coming back with our full arena show to Australia and New Zealand next year. We can’t thank the fans enough for their support. We’ll be announcing it very soon so stay tuned for more details.”
The band are set to play two dates in Sydney this Friday before hitting Melbourne and Brisbane, and the current set of gigs sold out in just three minutes.
Liam’s news came on the Channel 7 “Sunrise” show in Sydney. Top news eh Aussies & Kiwi’s!

Elsewhere, One Direction are being sued by One Direction.
Huh?
Yep, you might have heard a while ago that there’s an American rock band already with the same name, and now they’re trying to sue the British band for trademark infringement.
The northern California rock group have been using the name since 2009 and have already recorded two full albums. Liam and co formed in August 2010 and have recorded one album so far.
An attempt to make money on the back of the British One Direction’s success, or a valid claim to their rightful name?
We’re not sure a less successful band would be pursued – hence money talks
