Watch out Japan, One Direction are coming for you!
That’s right, the 1D boys are off to Tokyo, Japan this weekend to kick off their world tour and begin filming for their 3D movie.
The boys will be constantly followed by cameras, documenting their journey and filming footage from the concerts and behind the scenes.
All of the footage from all of the concerts around the world will be put together to create One Directions first movie – AND it’s in 3D!
‘Super Size Me‘ film director Morgan Spurlock has been hired for the movie and will be off to Japan with the boys.
Spurlock was quizzed about why he wanted to get involved with the 1D movie;
“These guys have gotten so huge in such a short amount of time – why?” Spurlock said.
“What makes them more special than any other people?”
Intrigued by how they had hit worldwide success in such a short amount of time, he seemed intrigued as to how this had happened.
However, One Direction were not his first choice though, he had also approached Justin Bieber and Katy Perry’s management about directing their 3D concert documentary, but was turned down.
