Liam and Louis treated their partners to a day out at V Festival yesterday in Chelmsford as they enjoyed a break from One Direction duties.

Snapped walking around hand-in-hand and looking ever so in love, Twitter was awash with chat about the couples, and those lucky enough to be at the festival would have had a great chance to see them in the flesh.
Monitored by security guards but given a lot of space at the same time they looked just like normal revellers, and not the multi-millionaire superstars that they’ve all become.

Harry and Niall also attended the event but at one point the band got mobbed by fans and they were forced to retreat to the communal tent.

Speaking to The Sun, Liam said:
“Yeah, we were mobbed a bit by the girls. The rest have gone off.”
Liam and Louis continued walking about though. Good on ya lads!
Zayn was the only member of the band not to attend the event, instead watching girlfriend Perrie perform with the rest of her Little Mix bandmates at London club G.A.Y.
