Due to ENORMOUS demand, and having completely sold-out their forthcoming North American tour, One Direction have announced a huge concert at the famous Madison Square Garden this December 3rd.

Tickets will go on sale at 5pm this Friday 6th April (EST), and the one-off gig is expected to sell-out within minutes, so make sure you’re ready and waiting at your computer if you want to secure some tickets.

Niall tweeted: “We are so happy to be playing Madison Square Garden. To be headlining our OWN show in a venue that has played host to countless legendary acts that we have grown up listening to and adore is obviously a dream come true for us all.”

Since releasing their first single, “What Makes You Beautiful” on European shores back in September last year, 1D have grown into a global juggernaut that shows no sign of stopping.

Only last week they were invited to the White House by none other than Michelle Obama, an invitation which they had to turn down due to them being over in Australia & New Zealand for a series of shows.

Together with The Wanted, both bands are showing that boybands are now truly back!

Tickets will be available for the New York concert via Ticketmaster, and also available at after-sales websites such as TicketSizzle and SuperStar Tickets.

Watch the band givig an interview to New York radio station Z100 below, and hear them sing “More Than This” and “WMYB”.
