Joining the queue of people who so badly want to work with 1D is British soul singer and musician John Newman.
For those of you who don’t know who he is, he’s best known for his track ‘Love Me Again’, which is currently in the charts.
He also gained success being a featured artist on two of Rudimental’s top hits ‘Feel The Love’ and ‘Not Giving In’.
He has recently admitted that he would love to work with Harry, Niall, Liam, Louis and Zayn given the opportunity.
He spoke to MTV News about the boys in a recent interview, and about possibly working with them in the future.
He said: “Yes….As a producer, I want everything to have a tinge of me so people will know, ‘Oh that must have been a John Newman track’.
“So definitely, if the opportunity is there, I would work with anybody that I fully appreciate and I think is amazing.”
Yeah, we think One Direction are amazing too
Being that One Direction found fame from reality TV show The X Factor, MTV quizzed John on his opinion of artists who have entered such competitions.
He said: “I think the marketing ideas behind it is absolutely genius and it’s worked really well for people who’ve done it.
“Regarding the artists, it’s good because some artists don’t get recognised and it’s nice for people to be able to help. I think it is definitely a good thing, to get more people on the market that maybe wouldn’t do or wouldn’t have the confidence to do everything themselves.”
Maybe a 1D/John Newman track could be coming our way in the future?
