Onerepublic star Ryan Tedder has written a track for the new One Direction album.
1D’s third album will be released later in the year, and it appears a track called “Right Now” will appear on it.
The website for “The American Society Of Composers, Authors And Publishers” – ASCAP for short – lists songs after they’ve been written.
Under One Direction’s list of tracks, amongst the obvious names such as “What Makes You Beautiful” and “Kiss You”, there are a couple of songs we’ve never heard of!
“Right Now” was written by Louis, Harry and Liam alongside Onerepublic frontman Ryan Tedder.
Another unknown track is “Half A Heart” which is written by Ed Drewett, Lindy Robbins and Steve Robson.
The website lists Harry Styles as a writer, and claims he’s written 24 songs – loads of them unheard of.
Harry has co-written songs such as “Kissed You In The Rain”, “Have And Hold” and “California” with another writer named Daniel Robin Layus.
Of course the songs might never be recorded, but there’s always a chance Harry might release them separately from his work with One Direction. Don’t worry, he probably won’t be leaving the group!
So, it looks like One Direction’s third studio album, possibly titled “Where We Are” could feature tracks “Right Now” and “Half A Heart”.
We can’t wait to hear them!
