So, One Direction are still in Sweden, and hard at work putting down the foundations for their new album – which we assume “might” be out towards the end of this year, possibly in time for Christmas.
We’d love to be a fly-on-the-wall in the studio, but the nearest we’ll get (unless anyone fancies a bit of Mission Impossible style infiltration) is reading the lads Twitter accounts.
Check out this series of tweets from the lads:
Niall: “great day in studio! Just finished…off to sleep! Long day ! see you all tomorrow #1DinSweden”
Niall: “sitting writing a song with @louis_tomlinson, @harry_styles and @real_liam_payne while @zaynmalik is in booth recording his bit on a tuuune”
Liam: “Morning recording has been going amazing having a great time and can’t wait for you to hear some of the stuff hope we make you proud xxxxxx”
Louis: “Just seen the trends. Thank you so much, can’t wait for you guys to hear our new stuff!!”
Aagh we can’t contain ourselves!
Can’t have a preview or something of one of the new songs? Wouldn’t that be brilliant.
Alongside the more well-known songwriters and producers such as Rami Yacoub, Carl Falk and Savan Kotecha, another pair of Swedes – Max Martin and Kristian Lundin, are known to be helping on the new album.
Want to know what else they’ve been up to over in Sweden, when they’re not recording some amazayn new songs? Well check this vid of them doing a spot of shopping:
