Work began on 1D’s sophomore album last month in Sweden, and Louis spilled the beans over some of it during a recent interview with HollywoodLife.
Asked whether any of the songs were about their girlfriends, the Tomlinster said:
“Yeah we did. Well me, Liam and Harry started writing a song and then Zayn came and got involved as well. We’re writing songs about being away from home, being away from girlfriends, that kind of thing.”
Three of the boys have girlfriends at the moment – Liam and Danielle, Louis and Eleanor, and of course the latest celebrity couple Zayn and Perrie (Zerrie).
Harry and Niall have been romantically linked with every hot girl under the sun, but they’ve both denied they’re in a relationship with anybody right now.
With ‘Up All Night’ having smashed long-standing records in the USA, 1D’s follow-up effort is set to be hugely-anticipated, and we just can’t wait to hear some new material from the lads.
The general sound of the first album was a mixture of pop-rock with a smidging of pop-dance, all with great melodies, and we’re not expecting much of a change from that – and being honest we just want more of the same!
Sales of their ‘Up All Night: Live Tour’ DVD have also broken a record this week, for the first time ever selling more copies than the equivalent best-selling CD album.
